The Main Event for Coffee Shops

Each stamp card has one reward that unlocks when the card completes. You choose whether that reward is a physical item your staff hands over (like a free drink), bonus points auto-credited to a loyalty card, or both at the same time. After a customer earns their reward the card resets to zero and they start collecting again.

You can run multiple stamp cards at the same time. Customers enroll in each one separately and collect toward all of them simultaneously.

Your customer shows their QR code from their phone or your staff can look them up by name or member code. Staff tap Scan in the PerkHit staff view, scan the code, and tap to add the stamp. The whole process takes about 5 seconds. No app download required; the customer's digital card lives in their browser and works on any device.

If your menu has a wide range of prices, a points card rewards customers based on what they actually spend. You set the points-per-dollar rate, then add rewards at different point levels. Customers can redeem any reward they have enough points for, or keep accumulating toward a bigger one. Points cards run alongside stamp cards with no conflict.

Why Run Both at Once

Stamp cards reward frequency. Points cards reward spend. Running both means every visit counts toward two programs at the same time. A customer who buys a $7 latte and a $4 pastry earns a stamp on their drink card and 11 points on their loyalty card from the same visit.

Running a loyalty card alongside your stamp program also unlocks the referral system, since referrals credit bonus points to a loyalty card.

Tiers are based on lifetime points earned, meaning the total accumulated since day one. Redeeming rewards never drops a customer's tier. A customer who has earned 2,000 lifetime points holds their Silver tier even if they've redeemed most of their balance.

Automatic advancement

The system evaluates every customer's tier after each transaction and assigns them to the highest tier they qualify for automatically. The customer receives an email notification when they move up. No buttons to press, no forms to fill out, it just happens.

Custom tier names

You can rename all four tiers to anything you want in the partner dashboard. Some options that work well for this type of business: Bronze / Silver / Gold / Platinum, Regular / Loyal / Devotee / Legend, or Guest / Member / VIP / Insider. The name members see is the display name, fully customizable and translatable.

Setting it up in the dashboard

Go to the Tiers section in your partner sidebar under Campaigns. Click Create New Tier and fill out four tabs: Details, Qualification, Benefits, and Appearance. Set the lifetime points threshold, the multiplier, and the benefits for each level. Bronze is the default tier, all new members start here automatically.

Note on stamps: Tiers only apply to the loyalty (points) card. Stamp cards are a completely separate program and run independently.

These are the four most common situations your staff will encounter. Each has a specific flow. Once staff run through them two or three times, they become automatic.

Adding a Stamp or Points After an Order

Customer pays, then shows their card QR. Cashier taps Scan and scans it. Screen confirms stamp or points added. Move to the next customer. No extra steps.

Tip: Keep the staff view open on a second tablet dedicated to scanning. This keeps the POS free and makes the scan feel like a natural last step.

Redeeming a Voucher

Customer shows their voucher QR from their wallet. Staff tap Scan and scan it. System confirms the voucher is validated and the discount applied. The voucher is marked redeemed immediately and cannot be used again.

Tip: Always scan the voucher QR before completing the transaction. This prevents a customer claiming the voucher after payment is already processed.

Completing a Stamp Card, Reward Redemption

A full stamp card shows a reward QR instead of a progress bar. Customer shows it, staff scan it. System applies the reward and resets the card. If the customer wants to use the reward and earn a new stamp on the same visit, scan the reward QR first, then scan again to start the new cycle.

Tip: The card resets automatically, staff do not need to touch the dashboard.

First-Time Customer, Self-Enrollment

New customers scan the QR stand on the counter themselves. The camera opens their card in the browser. No download, no form. Their first stamp comes from the standard scan at the end of that same visit.

Tip: Put the QR stand where customers naturally wait. If a customer asks how to join, just point to the code. They handle enrollment themselves.
