Creating Your Account

Signing up for PerkHit is quick and free:

  1. 1 Visit any business's loyalty card page or scan their QR code
  2. 2 Click "Sign Up" or "Join"
  3. 3 Enter your email address and name
  4. 4 Check your email and click the verification link

No app download required - PerkHit works in your web browser!

Logging In

PerkHit offers two ways to sign in:

Magic Link (Recommended)
  1. Enter your email address
  2. Click "Send Code"
  3. Check your email for the code
  4. Enter the code - you're in!
Password
  1. Enter your email address
  2. Enter your password
  3. Click "Sign In"

Forgot your password? Click "Forgot Password" and we'll send you a reset link.

NEW Instant Access (No Signup Required)

Many businesses now offer instant access - scan a QR code and start earning immediately without creating an account!

How It Works

Scan the QR code → Get your unique member code (like ABC123) → Start earning points instantly. No forms, no passwords, no waiting.

Your Member Code

You'll receive a 6-digit code like ABC123. This is your instant member code.

  • Easy to remember
  • Staff can look you up by code or name
  • Shown at the top of all your loyalty cards

Important: Protect Your Rewards

Without an email address, your account is tied to your device. If you lose your phone or clear your browser data, you'll lose access to your rewards.

Recommended: Add your email in Profile settings (takes 10 seconds) to protect your points and access your account from any device.

Can I Add My Email Later?

Absolutely! Just go to Profile → Settings and add your email address. Benefits include:

  • Access from any device (phone, tablet, computer)
  • Receive special offers from businesses
  • Never lose your rewards if you lose your device
  • All your points and progress automatically transfer

After logging in, you'll see your "My Cards" dashboard. This shows all the loyalty programs you've joined.

Each card shows your current balance and any available rewards you can claim.

How Points Work

Points cards let you earn points based on how much you spend. For example, a coffee shop might give you 1 point for every dollar spent.

To earn points:

  1. Make a purchase at the business
  2. Show your digital card to the staff member
  3. They'll scan your QR code or look up your account
  4. Points are added instantly to your balance

How Stamps Work

Stamp cards work like traditional punch cards - make a certain number of purchases to earn a reward.

To earn stamps:

  1. Make a qualifying purchase
  2. Show your stamp card to staff
  3. They'll add a stamp to your card
  4. When your card is full, claim your reward!

Example: Buy 9 coffees, get the 10th free.

Checking Available Rewards

  1. Open the loyalty card
  2. Look for the "Rewards" section
  3. Rewards you can claim will be highlighted
  4. Unavailable rewards show how many more points you need

How to Redeem

  1. When you have enough points, tap on the reward
  2. Review the reward details
  3. Tap "Redeem" when you're ready to use it
  4. Show the redemption screen to staff
  5. They'll confirm and process your reward
Important: Only tap "Redeem" when you're ready to use the reward. Once redeemed, it cannot be undone.

Vouchers are special one-time rewards. You might receive them for birthday rewards, special promotions, apologies for service issues, or referral bonuses.

Saving a Voucher

  1. Click the voucher link in your email
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Click "Save Voucher"
  4. Find it in your "My Cards" section

Using a Voucher

  1. Go to "My Cards"
  2. Find your voucher
  3. Show it to staff when ready
  4. They'll scan or enter the code

Vouchers typically expire, so check the expiration date.

Access your settings by logging in, clicking your profile icon, and selecting "Account Settings."

Avatar & Name

Upload a profile picture and set your display name.

Email Address

Change your login email (requires verification).

Password

Set or update your account password (min 6 characters).

Language & Time Zone

Choose your preferred language and local time zone.

Email Preferences

Control marketing emails from businesses.

I'm not receiving emails

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Add noreply@perkhit.com to your contacts
  • Verify your email address is correct in settings

My points didn't show up

  • Wait a few minutes - sometimes there's a short delay
  • Refresh the page
  • Check you're viewing the correct card
  • Contact the business if points still missing

I can't log in

  • Make sure you're using the correct email
  • Try the "Magic Link" option instead of password
  • Use "Forgot Password" to reset
  • Clear your browser cookies and try again

The QR code won't scan

  • Increase your screen brightness
  • Clean your screen
  • Hold the phone steady
  • Ask staff to manually look up your account by email

Your Data

  • We only collect what's needed for loyalty programs
  • Businesses see only your activity with their program
  • We never sell your personal information

Account Security

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Don't share your QR code publicly
  • Log out on shared devices

How Referrals Work

Get your unique referral link from "Referrals" in your dashboard

Share with friends via text, email, or social media

You both earn bonus points when they make their first purchase

Tracking Your Referrals

Visit the Referrals page in your dashboard to see how many friends you have referred, who has made purchases, and your total bonus points earned.

Install to Your Phone

  • Look for the "Install" button or prompt when visiting PerkHit
  • Or tap your browser menu and select "Add to Home Screen"
  • An app icon will appear for quick access

Offline Features

  • Your QR codes are saved for offline use
  • View cards you have previously opened
  • Everything syncs when you are back online

Download Your Data

Go to Profile > Privacy & Data to download all your personal information, card history, and transaction records.

Leave a Business

Remove your relationship with individual businesses without deleting your entire account. Your other cards stay active.

Delete Your Account

Permanently remove all your data from PerkHit. This action cannot be undone and will remove all cards, points, and history.
